Australia vs. Canada. The Results Are In. - New York Times

Hi NYT Australia team,

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for the fantastic and intellectually stimulating articles that you have published on Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

I first subscribed to the NYT following the inauguration of President Trump. As an avid consumer of American politics, I was keen to read more in-depth political articles, particularly as the quality of local Australian newspapers have declined.

Some of my favorite examples of quality journalism have been the young Sudanese men playing basketball in Western Sydney , the incredible photography by Adam Ferguson on the Australian outback and the sobering coverage on Manus Island .

The quality and in-depth coverage of articles published has greatly impressed me and I have since gifted two subscriptions to family members as birthday presents and will be gifting more subscriptions as Christmas gifts.

Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing what NYT Australia comes up with in 2018.

Kind regards,
